Irvine International Music Competition

"A Competition. A Recognition. A Pathway for Young Musicians."

The Irvine International Music Competition provides young musicians with opportunities to perform, compete, and be recognized for their musical achievements. Through adjudication by distinguished musicians and educators, the competition celebrates artistic excellence while encouraging young performers to continue developing their musicianship.

From Competition to Emerging Artist

Outstanding competition participants may be recognized through the Emerging Artists Program (EAP), extending the opportunities that begin with the competition beyond a single performance or award.

Through EAP, selected young musicians may have opportunities to:

  • Be featured on the EAP Artist Platform
  • Participate in masterclasses with distinguished musicians
  • Receive EAP Recognition
  • Gain additional performance and educational opportunities
  • Build a professional record of their musical achievements
